Reform UK has listed 12 openings for a party media operation, including editorial, video and analytics posts, as its official job pages lay out plans for Reform TV and YouTube production.
The careers page shows vacancies ranging from web and social publishing to video production and audience research. The Executive Editor listing describes formats from documentaries and explainers to interviews, debates and live events. The Head of Video posting calls for a seven-day team producing event coverage and brief, extended and live video for YouTube and other platforms. Neither posting gives a launch date or budget.
Reuters reported Oct. 22, citing at least eight party officials, that the plan includes daily YouTube publishing, an initial budget above £10 million and a target of 25 journalists and editors. The party postings do not state those budget or staffing figures. Reuters also reported that officials see the project as a way for Reform to shape its public communications and give more members experience speaking to the media.
The channel’s eventual format has been described differently in reports. Reuters outlined plans for daily output and compared the project with a 24-hour stream. The Spectator reported that party figures expected an emphasis on long-form interviews. The Head of Video posting calls for production throughout the week but does not specify continuous broadcasting.
Gawain Towler, a member of Reform UK’s governing board, told Reuters: “The media always say they offer a fair hearing to all opinions.”
Separately, Reform UK leader Nigel Farage said Sept. 14 that cryptocurrency entrepreneurs Christopher Harborne and Ben Delo had each donated £36 million to the party. Farage said the gifts would help prepare Reform to form a government and “help to level a playing field.” Reuters reported, based on conversations with party officials, that roughly half of the combined £72 million was expected to cover headquarters costs through the next general election, expected by mid-2029.
The U.K. Electoral Commission’s reporting period for third-quarter party donations runs from July 1 through Sept. 30, with reports due Oct. 30.
