Renewed delays in Athens once again

Greece just avoided bankruptcy at the very last minute and once again Athens is causing delays. The return of the troika and the question of where to house the experts is the contentious issue this time. Tsipras' government did not want to put the experts up in Athens, allegedly for security reasons.

The troika, which no longer is a troika as the ESM is now part of it as well, considers this to be an attempt to make it more difficult for them to gain access to the ministries. So once again time has been wasted. Time that Athens above all does not have.

"However, it is certain that skirmishes of this nature will become more frequent over time. Against the background of the alleged plan B of the former Finance Minister V. disagreements of this nature seems pretty irrelevant anyway", says Commerzbank.

However, contrary to the alleged plans of re-introducing the 'drachma' they are real. On the other hand all the different options for the alleged plan B from Athens seemed unrealistic to me.

"The introduction of a new drachma would have been unrealistic for the country simply because it is completely euroised", added Commerzbank.
