The Seoul Metropolitan Government will provide a digital mapping service that locates zero-waste shops in the city to promote eco-friendly consumption and reduce waste
Users can look up zero-waste restaurants, cafes, appliance stores, and refill shops on the Smart Seoul Map website by clicking on the zero-waste icon.
The map shows how the said shops manage to achieve zero waste. It also reveals their contact information, website, working hours, and products on sale.
Around 70 zero-waste shops are now registered on the map.
Seoul is the first regional government to introduce a digital map initiative to promote zero waste.
