“Rick and Morty” season 4 is finally on its way soon after a long absence on the small screen. Fans had waited for exactly two years this month for this installment, so everyone was ecstatic when Adult Swim announced the return of the animated series created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon.
Over a week ago, the second and longer preview clip was released, and the viewers got a glimpsed of what they can expect in “Rick and Morty” season 4. Needless to say, the teaser showed hilarious and chaotic scenes. The Smith family also suffers from Rick Sanchez’s projects, but since they can’t do anything about it, they just join him or participate in his experiments.
Rick’s out of this world projects
Because of Rick’s endless time in his lab, he created many things and allowed the family to travel in unknown places. In the course of their travels, they have already seen everything from aliens to robots to mutations, so nothing shocks them anymore.
In “Rick and Morty” season 4, Rick and Morty traveled in the promised land where the surroundings look yellow. Rick was also shown sitting in a hoverchair while Morty seems to be “rock climbing,” but it is uncertain why they are doing this or if they are looking for something.
Returning and new characters
As Games Radar reported, “Rick and Morty” season 4 will make its viewers happy because some of their favorite characters are making their comeback. As stated, Meeseeks and Mr. Poopy Butthole are coming back, and the latter still got his unwavering energy to perform his martial arts skills.
Meet the predicted new antagonist
The “Rick and Morty” season 4 panel attended the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con, and it was there when Adult Swim released the very first teaser of the series. It showed Morty with Glootie, and the former seems to be agonizing over something that the alien did.
As it turned out, Morty wants Glootie to take out the dating app that was uploaded online, but the alien is not keen on following his direction. Rick’s grandson still tried to convince Glootie but to no avail. Rather, the alien escaped from their home.
With what happened, Express suggests that Glootie is a new villain in “Rick and Morty” season 4. Meanwhile, catch the premiere of the series on Nov. 4 via Netflix.
