Roche's third-quarter sales grew 8% in Swiss francs, reversing a currency drag that left nine-month growth in francs at 1%, as both divisions recorded gains at constant exchange rates.

Roche said sales advanced 7% on a constant-exchange-rate basis from July through September. Quarterly sales totaled CHF 16.13 billion, compared with CHF 14.92 billion a year earlier, according to separate reports by Reuters and Dow Jones.

For January through September, group sales reached CHF 46.493 billion, up from CHF 45.862 billion in the same period of 2025. The company linked the smaller increase in francs to the Swiss currency's strength against most currencies, particularly the U.S. dollar. Roche said that currency effect turned in the third quarter as exchange rates stabilized.

The Pharmaceuticals Division generated CHF 36.212 billion in nine-month sales, up 7% at constant exchange rates and 2% in francs. Xolair, Hemlibra, Ocrevus, Phesgo and Vabysmo brought in CHF 16.8 billion combined, with sales rising 12% at constant exchange rates and 6% in francs. Sales for products with expired patents fell by a combined CHF 0.4 billion at constant exchange rates.

Diagnostics sales totaled CHF 10.281 billion, a 4% increase at constant exchange rates and flat in francs. Roche said stronger demand for core lab and pathology products outweighed the drag from China's health care pricing changes.

Roche maintained its 2026 outlook for mid-single-digit growth in group sales and high-single-digit growth in core earnings per share, both measured at constant exchange rates. The company also expects to raise its dividend in Swiss francs.

Roche's investor notice scheduled a sales presentation for Oct. 22 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. ET (12 to 13:30 UTC).
