Tabloid magazines have been putting out false and ridiculous stories about celebrities for many years, hiding behind the veil of free speech for protection. However, has one magazine gone too far by smearing the marriage of the Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively couple? It is doing so by basically accusing the “Deadpool” star of cheating on his wife, which is then leading to a supposed divorce.
As Gossip Cop reports, OK! is once again up to its known habits of publishing stinking piles of lies about celebrities in its unbending crusade to smear as many famous names as possible. Its latest target is the Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively pair and it is going all-out in coming up with lies upon lies. The publication is basically casting the actor as a nasty philanderer and “The Shallows” star as a housewife.
This story is practically misogynistic when taking into consideration how it plays into traditional family tropes on top of being a complete collection of falsehoods. The magazine even had the gall to conjure up a fake source to give its claims about the Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively divorce more credibility. This does not work, just as it has never worked in the past.
“People in their social circles have been whispering about it. [She knows] there were days Ryan was in L.A. alone, surrounded by God knows who, while she was home taking care of the kids,” the supposed source reportedly claimed.
Disproving the claims made by this publication is as easy as simply going to social media and seeing just how amazing the relationship that Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively couple has. They even flirt with each other online, which is absolutely adorable. This means that there is no divorce and that there is no evidence of cheating, whatsoever. The celebrity couple could quite easily file a lawsuit for this fabricated report and many would rightly support the move.
