WALLDORF, Germany, Aug. 29, 2017 -- Today at SuccessConnect® 2017, SAP SE (NYSE:SAP) announced a series of new human resources scenario-specific capabilities in SAP® Jam™ Collaboration supporting HR business transformation. Enhanced mentoring and coaching with the SAP SuccessFactors® Succession & Development solution, as well as an employee support work pattern for HR help desk operations, enable more agile and efficient processes while capabilities for HR and employee communications support engagement, transparency and discussion.
This new in-user interface integration brings powerful new collaboration capabilities to mentoring programs. The integration of collaboration technologies and capabilities with mentoring programs streamlines management and allows mentors and mentees to more easily share knowledge across various coaching programs. SAP Jam technology also enables employees to connect and engage in new ways, by automating the process of connecting mentors with mentees and allowing them to create private mentoring groups.
The introduction of self-service information for HR help desks streamlines operations and significantly reduces help desk resolution time. With a new content type for knowledge-base articles to complement the wide breadth of content capabilities such as video recording, content approval and moderation processes, and question and answer forums, employees will get accurate, up-to-date answers to their queries. The HR help desk capabilities also offer an optional integration with the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central solution. This provides visibility into SAP Jam knowledge-base information directly within the “Ask HR” application and allows employees to access the same information available to service desk agents.
“In today’s competitive business environment, human resources professionals need modern tools to streamline administrative and employee support processes so they can focus on developing and supporting talent,” said Daisy Hernandez, SAP global vice president, Product Management, Enterprise Collaboration. “SAP is committed to blending online mentoring experiences with valuable real-life connections, helping to make important employee development programs like mentoring and coaching the best they can be.”
The new employee support and employee development scenarios will be demoed at SuccessConnect, August 29–31, in Las Vegas.
