MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Feb. 02, 2018 -- SENS Research Foundation (SRF), a leading nonprofit focused on the development of rejuvenation biotechnologies to address the diseases of aging, announced today the receipt of an additional $1 million bitcoin donation from the Pineapple Fund and a second anonymous $1 million donation. The Pineapple Fund announced in December its commitment to donating $86 million in bitcoin to charities and causes around the world, with SENS Research Foundation receiving $1 million in December.
“SENS Research Foundation is tremendously honored to be receiving a second million dollar Pineapple Fund donation,” said Mike Kope, CEO, SENS Research Foundation. “As a nonprofit, our work is solely dependent on the generosity of our donors. The Pineapple Fund’s support will support the growth of our organization as we continue to fight the diseases of aging.”
“When I was a little kid, I was going on a trip with my grandmother. I had hoped that before she passes away, it would be possible to take a pill to live longer. Regenerative medicine for ageing will be transformative to medicine and humanity, and I'm excited to be supporting SENS Research Foundation!,” said the founder of the Pineapple Fund.
