The complaint alleges that the Company violated federal securities laws by failing to disclose that its CEO David Baazov was involved in insider trading. On March 23, 2016, Amaya issued a press release acknowledging that Canadian securities regulators have charged Baazov with insider trading. The allegations concern the communication of privileged information involve a “former financial advisor to Amaya.”
