‘SPY x FAMILY’ chapter 22: There might be a new addition to Anya’s family

One of the biggest questions dropped by the previous “Spy x Family” manga chapter was how Anya will warn her dad, Twilight, about the bomb without letting him know about her secret mind-reading skill. But it turns out that the answer was surprisingly simple – by using ketchup.

Riding on the white dog, which might still be around in the upcoming “Spy x Family” chapter 22, Anya quickly reached the location of the clock tower she saw in the canine’s vision. But Anya realized there was just one problem – she doesn’t know how to read clocks yet.

Thinking fast, she asked help from a nearby gentleman when the clock is going to sound off next. The man told her that it would be in around 30 minutes. That means that she, along with the talented dog, only had 30 minutes left to save her dad.

Then she saw the terrorist boss. Upon investigating carefully, she quickly realized that the terrorist placed explosives behind the door of the tower. Anyone coming through the door would be killed instantaneously by the bomb’s blast.

Anya tried to diffuse the bomb but she just didn’t know how. That was when she noticed a ketchup bottle on a table.

When Twilight arrived with his colleague, they were perplexed why there was a drawing of an eggplant at the door of the tower. However, they were still cautious and eventually realized that the drawing, which was made out of ketchup, was warning them of the bomb wired to the door.

Meanwhile, the terrorist’s next target was Minister Brantz. As the Minister drove his car, the terrorist used the other dog to track his smell and followed him. But he was surprised to see the 60-year-old minister surprisingly agile when he fled on foot. Of course, he wasn’t the actual Minister Brantz but Twilight in disguise.

“Spy x Family” chapter 22 is expected to show what happened next in the chase. Previously, the other dog was already leaping toward Twilight as the latter aimed his gun at the animal. Next chapter, Twilight might not kill the dog but wound it just enough to restrict its mobility.

But what’s even more interesting is what might happen to the other canine, the friendly white dog that helped Anya save her father. With such an amazing ability to see the future, Anya might not want to let him go just yet and the family might gain a new canine member in “Spy x Family” chapter 22.
