The price of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has been leaked ahead of schedule. The device’s value is said to mirror that of its predecessor, Indian Express reported.
According to the article, it got its scoop from a Polish website called Spider’s Web that claimed the information was unveiled by a “Samsung employee.” The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be priced at approximately $1,140 in many parts of Europe.
As for the release date, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will make its debut on Aug. 9 in New York as confirmed by Samsung itself. The smartphone will then hit global retail outlets on Aug. 24 to the delight of those who have been waiting for the device’s worldwide release.
People who are leaning toward a smartphone with a bigger screen will definitely have their hands full as the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is packing a 6.38-inch display, larger than its predecessor, which is 6.32 inches in size. Moreover, rumors have it that the device will also have a fingerprint scanner, which will be a first for a Samsung flagship.
As for the smartphone’s image capabilities, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will feature a dual camera setup on the back. The MWC Shanghai, which occurred this week, saw a showcase the device’s photo-capturing performance, which promises sharper images even in poor lighting conditions.
Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will have an increase of 15 percent in light sensitivity. Users are also treated with image sensor capabilities, which can capture smaller pixels without quality degradation.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will have a massive 4,000mAh battery, which is also a first for the smartphone series.
