“Samurai 8” chapter 26 will continue with the aftermath of the last battle to advance to the Battle Royale. It was Hachimaru and Ryu who were left to contend, and in the end, the former emerged as the winner.
With his win, everyone can see how Hachi improved. His sword and fighting skills are sharper, and his techniques are working fine. With his big improvements, people around him are convinced that he can go to any battles right away. They deduced that Hachi could even tackle any opponent all by himself at this point.
The Battle Royale
In the upcoming “Samurai 8” chapter 26, the rivals, Hachimaru and Ryu, have recovered from their fight, and as the winner, the former will be the representative in the Battle Royale. This is the tough stage as, obviously, only the best are able to get to this level.
In the previous chapter, the organizer of the fight prepares the stage for the battle, but at the last minute, the winner’s opponent withdrew. Daruma dropped out after seeing Hachi as the winner he would face. It is not because he is afraid, but Hachi already proved what he could do, so there is no need for him to fight his ward.
Hachi was very disappointed because he wants to face his mentor, Daruma, on the battleground, but before this could happen, the Wandering Lone Wolf left the scene already. Later in “Samurai 8,” chapter 26, Daruma will explain that the only reason he wants Hachi to compete was for him to have more experience in fighting, and since he already achieves this, there is no need to proceed to the Battle Royale.
Ryu’s defeat
Ryu lost, and Kotsuga tries to calm him down because he has been sulking. Ryu’s bitter reaction to his loss just shows he forgot the purpose of the fight. If he could remember the original intention of the battles, he will not be upset in the first place.
Meanwhile, “Samurai 8” chapter 26 will be out on Nov. 10, according to The Anime High. It will be available on the upcoming issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump. Watch out for the raw scans as they will arrive earlier on Nov. 7.
