Satoshi Note’s latest data show the accounts it ranks by 24-hour performance remain heavily weighted toward short positions, although the long share climbed to 20.6% from 19% in the previous reading.

The snapshot, compiled at 2:28 a.m. ET (06:28 UTC) Friday, Oct. 30, showed about $616 million in long positions against $2.37 billion in shorts. Satoshi Note builds a separate ranking for each venue, selecting 100 accounts based on their 24-hour performance on Hyperliquid, Lighter, dYdX and Pacifica.

A comparison reading at 4:54 p.m. ET (20:54 UTC) Thursday, Oct. 29, showed $568 million in longs and $2.49 billion in shorts, with longs at about 19% of the total. Satoshi Note put the change between readings at a $48 million increase in long positions and a $115 million decline in shorts.

The longer ranking periods also remained short-heavy. Longs made up 15.9% of the seven-day cohort’s position value, down from 17.6%, while the 30-day cohort’s long share rose to 12.4% from 11.5%.

Among the 20 assets with the largest reported position values in the 24-hour group, Worldcoin (WLD) had the sharpest increase in the proportion of accounts holding long positions. Satoshi Note counted 31 long accounts and 34 short accounts, compared with 14 long and 50 short in the earlier reading. Long accounts’ share rose from 22% to 48%.

The dollar values moved the other way: WLD longs declined to about $370,000 from $410,000, while shorts fell to $15.2 million from $17.4 million. Longs remained 2.4% of tracked WLD position value in both readings. WLD was at $0.394, down 5.0% over 24 hours.

A Satoshi Note reading covered in EconoTimes’ Oct. 29 report put the 24-hour cohort at 93% short by position value. Hourly updates rebuild the performance-ranked groups, so the snapshots cannot establish whether the same accounts reversed direction. The index covers positions on the four named venues and excludes spot holdings and positions on other exchanges.
