The Saudi-led coalition said Saturday it intercepted and destroyed a cruise missile headed toward the Riyadh region, attributing the launch to the Houthi militia in an official statement.
The announcement was attributed to coalition spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Malki in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The coalition also reported intercepting a Houthi ballistic missile aimed at Riyadh on Oct. 23. EconoTimes covered the earlier interception.
