Saudi-led coalition spokesman Turki al-Malki said in a Monday post on X that forces had intercepted two drones near Riyadh, but he did not say when the operation occurred or identify who launched them.

Al-Malki had also announced a drone interception in Riyadh province on Friday, Oct. 30, alongside a missile interception aimed at southern Saudi Arabia. He blamed the Houthis for the missile launch, according to EconoTimes’ account of the drone and missile reports.

In a previous report on a separate Riyadh drone interception, EconoTimes said the coalition did not identify where the aircraft came from or where it was headed.
