Semtech will exhibit the benefits of LoRa Technology with “IoT in a Box” and show readily available, self-contained sensor solutions. The “IoT in a Box” will demonstrate how easy it is to deploy a LoRaWAN solution to connect sensors in key vertical segments. The box includes a LoRa-based gateway and sensors that are already programmed with a network and application interface. This allows a user to quickly set up an IoT use case to collect and analyze data for specific use cases including food safety and hospitality. The demonstration also highlights flexible deployment models when using LoRa Technology, which provides LPWAN connectivity on-demand at a cost effective price points.
“Next-generation IoT technologies are rapidly growing and going through a massive transformation,” said Vivek Mohan, Director of Internet of Things (IoT) in Semtech’s Wireless and Sensing Products Group. “LoRa Technology has improved the way we interact and addresses some of the biggest challenges facing our society today.”
