Sentry has supported associations in the Ocala area for decades out of the nearby Tavares office and manages 20 communities currently in Marion and Southern Alachua Counties. “We are seeing a growing need for association management services in the area,” says Bradley Pomp, President of Sentry Management. “There has been a lot of new development occurring in the area to accommodate the nearly 20,000 new residents who have arrived since 2010.”
Joanna Hart, Senior Vice President, notes “we can now enhance our services by having Sentry staff members working closer to the communities they manage. We are always looking for ways to improve our customer relationships—and make things easier for homeowners.”
The Division Manager for the new office is Wendy Thrower. She joined the Sentry Management Tavares office team as a Community Manager in 2013. Last fall, she was promoted to Assistant Division Manager. Wendy Thrower grew up in Ocala Florida. She earned a BA from the University of Georgia. Wendy has been a portfolio manager for eight years and has managed HOA’s, COA’s and Commercial Maintenance Associations. In 2016, Wendy earned the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation from Community Associations Institute (CAI)—a very sought-after level of professionalism and knowledge of the industry.
