Intellivix's Choi Eun-soo urged business leaders at a Seoul forum to use artificial intelligence tools themselves, The Korea Herald reported, as speakers also addressed business strategy and cooperation between South Korea and the United Arab Emirates.

The Korea Herald said Choi's examples included drafting proposals and marketing materials, summarizing meetings and creating assistants from company documents and manuals. The paper quoted him urging executives: “Don't leave AI to your employees. Use it yourself as an expert assistant to build a better business.”

Park Jae-hee, director of Seokcheon Academy, discussed strategy through the lens of Sun Tzu's The Art of War. The Korea Herald said Park urged leaders to assess their circumstances and resources and consider the long-term interests of employees and investors.

The paper also reported that Sheikh Saleh Alsharqi, an economic affairs counselor at the UAE Embassy in Seoul, called for closer business ties between South Korea and the UAE. He named green hydrogen, advanced manufacturing, AI and space technology as fields for cooperation, and cited joint investment and expansion into third-country markets as possibilities, according to the report.

At a separate business event in Bangkok, True Corporation's recap said companies would need to reorganize work and build employee skills to bring AI into routine operations. That topic also featured in EconoTimes' earlier coverage of AI adoption in Thailand.

The Korea Herald described the Seoul discussion as the forum's fifth weekly session, held Wednesday. The organizer's calendar lists a different, UAE-focused program for Thursday, Oct. 29, and says the schedule may change. The calendar describes the forum's 10th edition as a weekly Wednesday series running through Dec. 16.
