‘Shades of Blue’ Season 2, Episode 7 Spoilers: “A House Divided” – Harlee, Wozniak Work Together to Neutralize Bianchi After Betrayal Revealed but Mafia Retaliates

Jennifer Lopez plays Harlee on NBC's 'Shades of Blue'

‘Shades of Blue’ season 2’s episode 7, titled “A House Divided,” will follow Harlee and Wozniak as they work together to bring down Bianchi after their betrayal is revealed. However, they will have to face the consequences of their actions as the Mafia retaliates.

The lengthy synopsis for “A House Divided” posted on TV Guide reads, “After Harlee's (Jennifer Lopez) confession that she has been informing for the FBI, the crew grapples with Harlee and Wozniak's (Ray Liotta) betrayal; and with their team falling apart, Harlee and Wozniak come up with a desperate plan to neutralize Bianchi (Ritchie Coster). However, their actions have unforeseen consequences because the Mafia fires back.”

It seems that Harlee will finally come clean to the crew in the upcoming episode. Harlee investigated the murder of ADA James Nava's (Gino Anthony Pesi) ex-fiancee, Caroline (Mimi Michaels), after she was framed for the murder. However, she neglected to tell the truth about her real connection to the murder.

The upcoming episode will follow Harlee as she confesses to the team that she has been keeping the FBI informed about their movements. According to Christian Post, the crew will also need to come to terms with the fact that Wozniak has been betraying them as well.

Harlee and Wozniak’s troubles will not be ending in the internal conflict happening within the team as they will have to double their efforts to neutralize Bianchi especially since their allies are in short supply. To make things worse, they will have to face the consequences of their actions when the Mafia decides to retaliate.

Meanwhile, the crime-drama television series is set to return to NBC for a third season after a renewal has been announced last March 17. According to TVLine, NBC president Jennifer Salke said in a statement, “We’re so hugely appreciative of everything Jennifer and Ray do, and know it is due to their dedication, as well as the hard work of our incredible cast and producers, that Shades of Blue has so clearly and compellingly earned a third-season renewal… This show continues to mine powerful stories that always leave us hungry for more.”

‘Shades of Blue’ season 2’s episode 7, titled “A House Divided,” is scheduled to air on NBC on April 16, 2017. It will be followed by episode 8, titled "Unpaid Debts,” scheduled to be released on April 23.
