“Shadowhunters” season 3 episode 11 will mark the end of the series’ midseason break. The last episode which is the tenth aired on May 10 so it was a long 7-month hiatus. Then again, the show promises to compensate for the long wait by offering exciting episodes ahead.
“Shadowhunters” season 3 episode 11 is titled “Lost Souls” and it one of the last few episodes since this is the final season already. The drama has 20 episodes in all and since 10 already aired the second half will finish off the show with its remaining 10 episodes.
“Shadowhunters” season 3 is the finale after it was canceled by Freeform in June citing financial troubles as the cause. Karey Burke, the company’s EVP for programming and development revealed that they could no longer support the show due to lack of funds.
It was said that Netflix was in talks to save the show but the streaming site denied the reports. "No Netflix negotiations are taking place to extend Shadowhunters beyond the 12 new episodes planned to premiere in 2019," the Netflix representative said in a statement.
At any rate, the synopsis for “Shadowhunters” season 3 episode 11 is not yet available but based on the promo teaser, Jace and Luke will search for Clary Fray (Katherine McNamara) as they refused to believe that she will never be found. It can be recalled that in the first part’s finale, there was a big explosion and Clary along with Jonathan (Will Tudor) were caught in there.
Talking about what will happen next in “Shadowhunters” season 3,” the series’ showrunner, Entertainment Weekly quoted Todd Slavkin as saying, “They (Luke and Jace) refuse to believe that Clary is gone forever. As a father figure, Luke is really driving that search.”
Moreover, Slavkin revealed that even if Clary is found, it will be hard for everyone because she will come back a very different person. Something has changed in her and Clary will not go back to what she used to be.
“Shadowhunters” season 3 episode 11 will air on Feb. 25, 2019, on Freeform.
