Some of the fan-favorite ships in the “Shadowhunters” franchise will go through either a romantic moment or a heartbreaking one in “Shadowhunters season 3 episode 14. Jace (Dominic Sherwood) and Clary (Katherine McNamara) — known to fans as “Clace” — will put a smile on the viewers’ faces as they go to “special date.” On the other hand, Magnus (Harry Shum Jr.) could be making a regrettable decision that he will choose to keep from Alec (Matthew Daddario).
The official synopsis (via CarterMatt) for “Shadowhunters season 3 episode 14 indicates that one of the highlights in the upcoming installment is Jace and Clary’s moment together as the former sets up the said “special date.” The brief episode preview confirms that this date is happening at a skating rink where Clary is going to teach Jace the sport to kill the time.
Clary has an interesting way to describe their moment, though. Presumably, after the date, she goes to her brother Jonathan (Luke Baines) and reacts to their date. She says in the “Shadowhunters season 3 episode 14 promo video, “To play Jace’s virginal little girl again got real old, real fast. I missed our life together.”
While Jace and Clary share some lovey-dovey moments, Magnus and Alec could be looking at a major feud because of what will happen in “Shadowhunters season 3 episode 14. Magnus used to be one of the most powerful warlocks in all of New York and served as the High Warlock of Brooklyn for some time.
Magnus recently lost his powers and that is understandably hard to fathom and deal with for someone used to being one the best persons in the game. It is then not surprising that he becomes desperate and takes a shortcut by asking for Lorenzo Rey’s (Javier Muñoz) help in “Shadowhunters season 3 episode 14.
Lorenzo, who practically took Magnus’ High Warlock job, warns the latter about the negative side effects of the process of giving him his powers back. However, Magnus is obviously done with not having special abilities and decides to take the risk in “Shadowhunters season 3 episode 14. This is a very important detail to hide from his boyfriend Alec, but Magnus lies to him anyway.
How Magnus’ decision will affect himself and his relationship with Alec will certainly emerge in the upcoming installments. “Shadowhunters season 3 episode 14 will air on Monday, March 18, at 8 p.m. ET Freeform.
