The Shiba Inu (SHIB) community has driven a staggering 708% burn rate increase, signaling a potential price recovery.
SHIB Prices Through the Roof
The Shiba Inu army was successful in driving the burn rate to new heights, according to data supplied by Shibburn, while SHIB is displaying a large price increase.
With Bitcoin's recovery, the market as a whole is turning green, and Shiba Inu prices are through the roof.
SHIB Burn Rate Jumps 708%
U.Today shares that the SHIB burn rate has shown a staggering increase of over 708% since last morning, according to the data source stated earlier. The overall amount of meme coins destroyed is a respectable 2,760,121, even though the burn rate rose impressively.
In a single transfer involving 2,000,000 SHIB, nearly all of this chunk was sent to blockchain wallets that cannot be spent. Half a million SHIB went to an empty wallet in the second largest transfer.
SHIB Price Surge of 25.88%
Over the past day, SHIB, the market's second most popular meme cryptocurrency, has seen a massive increase, a 25.88% surge, rising from $0.00001107 to the $0.00001393 level.
The meme-inspired coin's value has been steadily declining since last Monday when the price rise occurred. From its high of $0.00001726, it dropped 36% throughout that time. Almost all of the steep decline in value has been recovered already.
Sunday saw a tweet from the shrouded lead developer of the SHIB team, Shytoshi Kusama, which sparked excitement among Shiba Inu owners. He tweeted a speech to the SHIB army:
Actually, the Huobi cryptocurrency exchange had previously tweeted about the start of "National Dog Month," and that was only a repost of their message. It appeared to a lot of enthusiastic critics that it was a reference to Shytoshi Kusama's previous appearances.
While attending significant blockchain events in Japan, India, and the UAE, Kusama introduced himself to the community. To keep his real identity hidden, though, he wore not one but two masks.
Along with him in India and the UAE was top SHIB developer Kaal Dhairya, who was also hiding his identity.
