“Shokugeki No Soma” Season 4 is speculated to return in the summer, continuing on the matchup between the Rebels and Central. Right now, there are four more cook-offs before the Promotion Exams arc conclude.
The final matchup of this storyline will be the most interesting one as it’s going to feature a two versus two battle. Representing the Rebels will be Soma and Erin, while Central will have Rindo and Eishi. What’s more, this rare matchup in “Shokugeki No Soma” Season 4 will only be imposing one restriction: the dish will have to be prepared with gourmet cooking style, MonsterAndCritics reported.
By now, Azami Nakiri has already recognized Soma’s skills although he’s still denying it publicly. As this is the case, the egocentric cook will try to lowball the Rebels by replacing the judges by himself and two other World Gourmet Officers. But staying true to his collective nature, Soma will not be disheartened by this development in “Shokugeki No Soma” Season 4.
In fact, the unorthodox cook will gladly step up for the challenge. “Now I get the chance to hit you straight-on. With my flavors,” Soma declared in the manga. As for the remaining matchups in “Shokugeki No Soma” Season 4, it will feature tuna, beef, and wild rabbit as its main ingredients.
Of course, throughout the match, fans should expect flashbacks for each matchup to provide some background as to what drives each chef forward. The first battle in “Shokugeki No Soma” Season 4 will be between Terunori Kuga and 1st seat Eishi Tsukasa. This cook-off is one of the most anticipated duels by the fans given that the two have already face each other in the past.
Tsukasa will say that he doesn’t remember battling Kuga and disparages his cooking skills. As such, Kuga will be seeking revenge against his opponent and will prove how much better he’s gotten after their seemingly unmemorable battle. With regards to the release date of “Shokugeki No Soma” Season 4, J.C. Staff hasn’t announced anything yet but it’s speculated to drop sometime between July and September.
