‘Shokugeki no Soma’ season 4 episode 5 release date: Penultimate chapter confirmed; Rebels seek to win in ‘You're Through’

“Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma” season 4 returned not long ago and now it is on its fifth episode already. Fans waited for this fourth plate for a long time but time flies by fast and the show is already getting close to the midseason break again.

Comic Book reported that “Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma” season 4 will offer a total of 25 episodes but these will be divided into two parts thus there is a short break before the story continues. In the first half, it was said that 13 episodes are set to be released then the next 12 chapters will follow for next year’s airing.

A brief rundown of episode 3

“Food Wars: Shokugeki no Souma” season 4’s previous episode called the “Aim for Victory” showed Tsukasa and Kuga facing each other at a battle. The winner will decide whether the Rebels will win or they have to go to another round and start a battle with the Elites again. This is because Tuskasa’s win will even out the scores so there will be a final faceoff.

Kuga badly wants to take the victory and his desire led him to decide to try something new. He made up his mind and will skip his usual Chinese food recipe that he was known for, and offer a meal that no one prepared before. He went for a pork dish with sauce but unfortunately, he was not able to beat Tsukasa’s food.

What will happen next

Kuga’s lost is also the team Rebel’s lost so they will give it a go again in “Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma” season 4 episode 5 titled “You’re Through.” They will try to stop the Elites’ consecutive wins in the battles because they must win or face expulsion. Fans can expect an intense fight because their schooling is on the line.

It is a known fact that the prestigious Totsuki Culinary Academy is a tough school for cooking. In fact, just 10% of its enrollees make it until the end and graduate. This means Soma should do something to topple the Elites so they can survive.

As per Shokugeki no Soma Fandom, “Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma” season 4 is the penultimate installment as they are inching closer to the final tournament in the Central arc called the Regiment de Cuisine. Once this arc is over, there is only one more chapter left before the series concludes.
