CHICAGO, April 11, 2018 -- Signal, the global leader in real-time customer identity resolution across all devices and channels, today announced it has been recognized in the Forrester Research report, The Forrester Tech Tide™: Martech For B2C Marketers, Q2 2018, Twenty Technologies Underpin Modern Marketing.
In the report, Forrester included sample vendors that offer various technologies that enable seamless brand experiences regardless of channel. Signal was named as a sample vendor in the category of Cross-Channel Identity Resolution.
The Forrester report highlights Cross-Channel Identity Resolution as a key enabler for contextual marketing, connecting “multiple sources of identity and customer information to support robust targeting, personalization and addressability between all touchpoints and devices.” Companies included in the report vary in size, regional focus and market approach, and support the scale of programs and interactions required by large brands deploying these technologies across global organizations.
In a graphic summarizing the state of the technology categories that comprise modern marketing, Forrester includes Cross-Channel Identity Resolution among the seven categories in the ‘Invest’ quadrant. A subsequent segment of the report devoted expressly to Cross-Channel Identity Resolution notes that “Mainstream marketers recognize the critical role that identity resolution plays in insights and engagement use cases and are starting to invest in solutions that are equipped for an extended array of customer interactions.”
Forrester goes on to state that “The flurry of activity by both marketers and suppliers in the market today reflects the recognition of identity resolution as a strategic capability that requires holistic planning and investment.”
“Marketing is no longer about just winning the conversion. It's about maintaining the conversation,” said Mike Sands, chief executive officer and co-founder, Signal. “Identity resolution provides the contextual relevance necessary to relate to consumers on a personal and continual basis — the underlying link between otherwise completely random events and interactions with a customer. It’s a fundamental shift in the way marketers approach their customers, and it’s the foundation for all brand engagements.”
