PORTLAND, Ore., March 23, 2018 -- Slalom, the purpose-driven consulting firm that helps companies solve business problems and build for the future, today announced its appointment of Amalia Goodwin as Managing Director of its Portland Office. In this role, she will help strengthen and expand Slalom’s presence throughout the Portland market.

Goodwin has served as Slalom Portland’s Practice Area Director of Business Advisory Services since 2013, growing the practice to more than 80 consultants focused on Strategy, Process Optimization, Employee Engagement, Leadership Development, Business Agility, Agile Transformation, Program/Project Management, and Analytics.

Goodwin is a native of the Northwest, born and raised in Idaho. She earned a Master’s in Organization System and Whole System Design from Antioch University Seattle, and moved to Portland in 2013 after spending several years on the East Coast. She is passionate about growth and development of women in leadership, and is involved in several women’s organizations, including Portland Business Journal’s Bizwomen’s Coalition, and is a member of the Little Black Dress Circle for Dress for Success Oregon.
