Reports from Doral describe some Latino voters moving away from the Republican Party and a restaurant’s sales falling amid deportation fears, in separate accounts from CBS News and AFP.

CBS News reporter Cristian Benavides linked the political shift to strong activity by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The segment said some of the voters had supported President Trump.

AFP reported that Maria Fernanda Perez, a Doral restaurant owner, said deportation fears had cut sales at her business by 40%. Three employees had stopped coming to work because of those fears, she said, while customers were going out less. EconoTimes previously covered the sales decline at Perez’s restaurant.
