Song Joong Ki’s comeback drama “Arthdal Chronicles” is a big hit. It consistently ranked no. 1 in viewership ratings based on data and analytics carried out by surveying companies. The first part is already over as all the six episodes have been released already.
“Arthdal Chronicles” will return this weekend for its second part and continue the story of Eum Seom. Prior to the broadcast of the first episode of part 2, the official poster was released this week and was shared on Allkpop. In the image, the main cast that includes Song Joong Ki, Jang Dong Gun, Kim Ji Won, and Kim Ok Bin were featured by their expressions suggest that there will be big changes in the characters that they are portraying in the drama.
As noted by Soompi, Song Joong Ki will change in “Arthdal Chronicles” Part 2 after it was discovered that his character Eun Seom has a twin named Sa Ya. It will be a full transformation for Song Hye Kyo’s husband, and this is one thing to be anticipated about in the second sequel.
“Arthdal Chronicles” Part 2 is called “Turning Sky, Rising Ground” and it will pick up from where the first part titled “Children of the Prophecy has left off. Aside from the existence of Eun Seom’s twin brother, the big reveal that Ta Gon is half human and half neanderthal will make the second half very intriguing to watch.
Lastly, it was reported that Black Pink’s Jisoo and 2 PM’s Nichkhun are making a special guest appearance in Song Joong Ki’s “Arthdal Chronicles.” Their guesting will give the drama a big boost even if it is already doing really well.
