Steam Sales have become something of a series of holidays for gamers, with the regular events never failing to generate excitement. This time, Valve has launched the Summer Sale event, or the Intergalactic Summer Sale, as some might call it. Among the most impressive deals include “Grand Theft Auto V,” “Fallout 4,” and “Dark Souls III.”
As Engadget notes, Steam usually holds several sale events throughout the year, ranging from major seasonal deals to smaller, weekly offerings. Among the most noteworthy, which PC gamers are often looking forward to, are held during autumn, winter, and summer.
One of the more remarkable developments with this new sales event is the fact that “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” is on the table for the first time. The title, which follows the battle royale format, hasn’t had the need to grace any of Steam’s regular sales parties in the past. Now, it’s available at 33 percent off. It’s worth noting that the game’s recent reviews have placed it at the “Mostly Negative” zone.
Other notable titles that PC gamers might want to look out for are as follows:
- "Grand Theft Auto V: San Andreas" (67 percent off)
- "Fallout 4" (50 percent off)
- "Dark Souls III" (70 percent off)
- "Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition" (50 percent off)
- "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" (60 percent off)
- "Assassin’s Creed Origins" (50 percent off)
There are several other indie games that are currently available at much cheaper prices, which are worth paying attention to, as well. Suffice it to say, gamers are going to have a tough time choosing the games that they are going to buy without burning a hole through their wallets. Then again, this has always been the case with Steam Sale.
The event will run from June 21 to July 5, so there’s plenty of time to choose. It’s not like any of these titles are going to run out.
