“Stranger Things” Season 3 has just finished wrapping up and it would seem that the stars simply can’t contain their sadness. In particular, is Eleven’s actress Millie Bobby Brown who recently hinted that this might be the show’s last season. Of course, this could just be the internet reading way too much into things, as it tends to do.
This week saw the production for “Stranger Things” Season 3 finally wrapping up, Comic Book reports, and this would usually be cause for celebration among fans. However, in an Instagram post, actress Millie Bobby Brown shared a moment with her fans where she embraced her friend Sadie Sink (Max). The caption is also quite heart wrenching as it reads, “[A]s we said goodbye, [I] gave my best friend the biggest hug and told her [I] loved her so much. My sister forever.”
The internet immediately seized on this moment to speculate about the meaning behind her words and if it meant that “Stranger Things” Season 3 is actually the last season of the show. Of course, she meant nothing of the sort and it has been clear that Netflix wanted more out of the series after this season.
Back in February, the streaming service issued a statement to clear up the misinformation about the Duffer brothers leaving after they finished filming “Stranger Things” Season 3. At the time, Netflix posted a message on Twitter with a really sassy tone.
“Don't drop your Eggos. Rumors that the Duffer Bros are leaving Stranger Things after season 3 are false,” the Tweet read.

Of course, there is no guarantee that this is still the case now since a lot of things could have changed from then to recently. If it is true that “Stranger Things” Season 3 is the last time that fans can hang out with these wonderful children, it’s all the more reason to watch it. Late 2019 simply can’t come soon enough.
