The rift between Prince William and Prince Harry shows no sign of mending, with insiders revealing that William now believes his younger brother is simply "too dumb" to handle any royal responsibilities. The 42-year-old Prince of Wales has reportedly "shut the door" on Harry’s attempts to return to royal duties, citing a lack of trust in his brother’s judgment.

Sources close to the palace told The National ENQUIRER that William’s decision stems from a growing belief that Prince Harry, 40, lacks the intelligence to make sound decisions for the monarchy. "William doesn’t think Harry has the smarts to handle even a reduced role in the Firm," revealed an insider. "In other words, he thinks his brother is stupid and foolishly adheres to bad advice."

William Loses Trust in Harry’s Judgment

According to palace sources, William is deeply concerned about the influence of Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, whom he believes has manipulated Harry into making disastrous decisions that have caused irreparable damage to both the monarchy and his own reputation.

"William is astonished at how easily Harry is manipulated by Meghan," the insider explained. "He’s oblivious to the damage he’s done with his backstabbing and can’t be trusted with royal responsibilities."

While some within the royal circle have urged William to make amends and at least hear Harry out, the future king has reportedly made up his mind. "William’s dead set against it," continued the source. "He truly believes Harry doesn’t have the mental capacity to make good decisions and handle royal life."

Harry’s Missteps in the Public Eye

Harry’s departure from royal duties in 2020 caused significant tension within the family, but things took a turn for the worse after his bombshell accusations of racism against the royal family during a televised interview. Harry further alienated his relatives by releasing his memoir, Spare, where he detailed personal grievances, including an alleged physical altercation with William.

"William was left wondering why his brother would burn so many bridges," said the source. "He concluded Harry’s simply too dense to see the damage he’s done."

The fallout hasn’t been limited to royal life, either. Harry and Meghan’s business ventures in the U.S. have also faltered. Spotify canceled their $20 million deal, with one executive calling them "f**king grifters," and Harry’s position at BetterUp faced criticism after the company laid off a significant portion of its staff in 2023.

Netflix Deal in Danger

To add to their woes, the couple’s $100 million Netflix deal is reportedly on shaky ground. Netflix already canceled Meghan’s animated series, Pearl, and their timing has been questionable. Just hours after Princess Kate announced her cancer-free status, Netflix promoted Harry’s upcoming polo documentary—further fueling controversy.

Despite Harry’s reported openness to returning to royal duties on a part-time basis, insiders say William isn’t interested. "William told pals Harry is daft in the head for even suggesting such a thing," revealed a source. "It’s not going to happen."

No Halfway for Harry

As far as William is concerned, the late Queen Elizabeth made it clear: there’s no "half-in, half-out" in the royal family. "You’re either in or you’re out," emphasized the source, adding that William is content to keep Harry at a safe distance across the Atlantic.

"He’s not doing it to hurt Harry, but to protect the monarchy," concluded the insider. "He believes his brother’s lack of intelligence is a danger to the throne, Britain, and himself!"
