Baramati MP Supriya Sule announced that her father, Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) (NCP-SP) chief Sharad Pawar, had been admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on Nov. 4 for further tests.
“We are admitting Baba to Breach Candy Hospital for further tests,” Sule wrote in a post on X, thanking people for their concern and good wishes. The Indian Express and The New Indian Express reported that the admission came hours after Ruby Hall Clinic discharged Pawar in Pune on Nov. 4.
Ruby Hall Clinic said Pawar was “stable and doing well” at discharge and would travel to his residence in Mumbai. The statement was issued by Dr. Purvez K. Grant, the clinic’s chief cardiologist, chairman and managing trustee.
Pawar had entered Ruby Hall Clinic on Nov. 2 after complaints of cough and pleuritic chest pain. The clinic said that stay was for a general health check-up and medical observation; Sule said then that he was undergoing tests and his health parameters were stable. EconoTimes previously reported on Pawar’s admission to Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune.
Sule did not specify the planned tests or announce a diagnosis.
