Suri Cruise has yet again been pushed into the spotlight as she’s now the centerpiece in a narrative published by Radar Online. The tabloid claims that Suri’s dad, Tom Cruise, is trying to win her back as he wants to be part of her life once again.
Before Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes divorced, the “Top Gun” actor was an attentive parent to Suri Cruise. Tom would carry the adorable little girl in public and would even willingly pose for photos.
However, after Tom and Katie separated, the actor has never been seen with his daughter again. The last time they were spotted together was back in September 2013, a year after the divorce was made official.
The custody agreement states that Tom is free to visit Suri Cruise for 10 days each month, a privilege that he has failed to practice. The reason for this is that the Church of Scientology allegedly labeled Katie Holmes as a Suppressive Person (SP), someone who has an anti-social personality.
And because Suri Cruise is the daughter of an SP, the organization has forbidden Tom to visit his 12-year old daughter. Now, however, tabloids are saying that he’s ready to return to her life, showering her with gifts like clothes and concert tickets.
But this claim has zero veracity to it as Tom Cruise’s loyalty to the Church of Scientology is still concrete. He currently lives just a block away from the international headquarters of the organization located in Clearwater, Florida. Tom is also quite secretive when it comes to his private life, even when it comes to his children, including Suri Cruise.
Simon Pegg, Tom Cruise’s co-star in his new film “Mission Impossible: Fallout,” even said that the actor is a “mysterious figure.” So any report that Tom adamantly wants to get back into Suri Cruise’s life is most likely just a rumor since, as said earlier, the actor remains reserved regarding the circumstances happening behind closed doors no matter what “sources” claim.
