Suri Cruise 2019: Tom Cruise’s Daughter in British Columbia as Katie Holmes Films ‘The Boy’ Sequel

Katie Holmes has always been protective of her daughter, Suri Cruise, and has time and again said that the young teen is the actress’ top priority above any other. As such, It’s rare for Holmes to post photos of the 12-year-old even in her Instagram account. That is, until recently.

Breaking away from her usual protective behavior, Holmes uploaded a photo of Suri Cruise on Instagram where the young teen was seen admiring the snow-covered slopes of a mountainside. The image is reportedly from the duo’s Holiday trip last year where they spent the remaining days of 2018 enjoying the snow, Travel and Leisure reported.

At the moment, Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise are supposedly in Victoria, British Columbia where the actress is filming her upcoming movie “The Boy 2.” The film is a sequel to the horror movie with the same name where it told a story of a nanny’s harrowing experience with a life-size doll that eerily came to life.

Katie Holmes has had a prolific career in the entertainment industry for 20 years with her success skyrocketing after starring in the hit series “Dawson Creek.” In 2006, she married Tom Cruise and their union resulted in Sur Cruise. With both parents being huge names Hollywood, the 12-year-old doesn’t seem interested in following her parents’ career.

However, there have been rumors claiming that Suri Cruise will be starring with her mom in the supposed reboot of “Dawson Creek.” After news broke out, Holmes’ spokesperson debunked the claim and said that the whole story is preposterous.

At the moment, Suri Cruise is your everyday normal teen who attends school and participates in extracurricular activities. Katie Holmes managed to raise her daughter well despite Tom Cruise distancing himself away from his daughter.

Until now, it’s still unclear why this is although rumors would have it that the Church of Scientology is the reason behind the actor’s decision. For her part, Suri Cruise seems to have adapted to the life of not having a father and is slowly growing up to be a charming young lady, thanks to the effort of Holmes.
