Suri Cruise and her dad Tom Cruise have been estranged since 2012. They were forced to part ways after Katie Holmes filed for divorce and went on their separate ways.
Tom wants to re-start a relationship with Suri
The “Dawson’s Creek” star has the full custody of their daughter, so the “Mission Impossible” actor is not able to see his daughter like before. In the years that the father and son have been separated, various reports have emerged saying that they have reunited while other stories were written to be more dramatic by stating that Scientology is stopping the actor from meeting his daughter.
Likewise, there are many theories regarding Tom and Suri Cruise’s relationship and whether they have seen each other since 2012, and most of the reposts are controversial because they also include the supposed teaching of the Scientology that prohibits the actor from being with his daughter.
At one point, it was even reported that Tom is ready to ditch his religion to see Suri again. As per New Idea, he is ready to make changes and improve his relationship with her teen daughter.
“I think enough time has passed now that the sting of Katie leaving him has dissipated,” the publication quoted a source as saying. “It’s just time. It was heartbreaking and humiliating for Tom when Katie left him. He must have felt lied to.”
It was added that the source stated the actor sent messages to Katie Holmes and made it clear that she wants to see his daughter again. Tom is entitled to spend 10 days with Suri every year, but since Katie is at odds with Scientology, he can’t meet her, and this affected his relationship with his youngest child. But recently, the two were able to reconnect again despite feeling awkward as Suri is not a baby anymore but a young lady.
No reunion happened
The truth is, Tom and Suri Cruise have not seen each other yet despite the never-ending reports about their reunion. Gossip Cop contacted Katie Holmes to confirm if the stories are true but were told that the meet up never happened. This could mean that the father and daughter still have no relationship or have not renewed their relationship after being apart for so long.
