Suri Cruise has been spending lots of time with her mom Katie Holmes and many people think that this is her way of comforting her mom from her breakup with Jamie Foxx. The mother and daughter have been spotted numerous times in the last couple weeks and they are usually seen walking their dogs or simply grabbing drinks in coffee shops around New York.
Suri’s bonding time with her mom remarkably became more frequent and while it is nice to see, it is being linked to Katie’s alleged split with long-time boyfriend. As per Fox News, the latest sighting of the mom and daughter duo was yesterday and they were seen sharing a drink and hailing a cab together.
Katie and Jamie’s split
Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have been dating for about six years but they just made things official this year when they appeared together at the red carpet of MET Gala. Before this, they never spoke or even acknowledge that they are a couple so many people were surprised when they finally “admitted” it in May.
However, it seems that the red carpet appearance is their first and last together as it was reported that the two have called it quits not long after they showed up together at the gala.
The alleged split comes after the “Django Unchained” actor was photographed holding hands with singer Sela Vave at the Bootsy Bellows nightclub in West Hollywood.
Suri's mom admits split to pals
Page Six reported that a spy heard Holmes telling her friends over dinner at Las Esquina that they have indeed broken up. The actress doesn’t look too affected by the split though.
“What Jamie does is his business,” the spy quoted Katie as telling her friends. “We haven’t been together for months.”
Meanwhile, amid the breakup of her mom Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx, Suri Cruise is also trying to be not affected as she enjoys her vacation. She will be going back to school in September and there are only a few days left to be free. In the meantime, she and her mom are taking advantage of their free time as much as they can before everyone gets busy.
