Sveriges Riksbank set a fixed rate of 1.85% for its Oct. 23 certificate buyback, with settlement due Oct. 26 ahead of the certificates’ Oct. 28 maturity, the Swedish central bank said.

The rate was 10 basis points above the Riksbank’s steering rate. The purchase follows a SEK 5 billion buyback on Oct. 21, which also carried a 1.85% rate for certificates maturing Oct. 28.

The earlier transaction was scheduled to settle Oct. 22, one day after it was traded. The current buyback is scheduled to settle Oct. 26.
