Türkiye’s foreign minister met Croatia’s parliamentary speaker in Ankara, Anadolu Agency reported, while separate comments by parliamentary leaders focused on closer regional energy and transport links.

At a joint news conference Thursday, Croatian Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandrokovic and Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmus discussed regional cooperation. Kurtulmus urged Croatia and regional partners to coordinate more closely on energy and transport, Anadolu Agency reported.

He said that cooperation could strengthen east-west links and support energy security. Kurtulmus also described Türkiye as a strategic partner of the Three Seas Initiative. EconoTimes previously covered Kurtulmus’ call for closer energy and transport coordination with Croatia.
