Taco Bell and Cheez-It are collaborating to offer the Big Cheez-It Tostada, a menu item with a base of a very Big Cheez-It with seasoned beef, reduced-fat sour cream, diced tomatoes, lettuce, and shredded cheddar cheese,
Liz Matthews, Taco Bell's chief food innovation officer, assures that the iconic flavors from Taco Bell menu items and Cheez-It snacks appeal to all.
She added that the new concept with Cheez-It gives Taco Bell fans the chance to experience the real cheese and crunch they love from both brands.
Taco Bell also offers a Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme, exclusively on the digital menu.
It consists of the Big Cheez-It Tostada wrapped inside a tortilla and grilled.
The Big Cheez-It Tostada sells for $2.49 while the Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme is priced at $4.29.
However, the two new items are available only as part of a two-week limited test run at just one Taco Bell location: 2222 Barranca Pkwy, Irvine, California.
As with any test item, there's no guarantee it will be available nationwide.
