The World’s Most Admired list is compiled on behalf of FORTUNE by the Korn Ferry Hay Group, a global management consulting firm which surveyed more than 4,000 executives, directors, and securities analysts. Tech Data ranked fourth overall in the Wholesalers: Electronics and Office Equipment category.

The Korn Ferry Hay Group compiled its data from approximately 1,500 companies: the 1,000 largest U.S. companies ranked by revenue and non-U.S. companies in FORTUNE's Global 500 database with revenue of $10 billion or more. A total of 652 companies from 30 countries were surveyed.
