“Teen Titans” Season 6 is coming back, that much is certain. However, following its surprise announcement, Warner Bros. has remained mum about the matter leaving fans to speculate what exactly they’re planning for this classic cartoon, Business Times reported.
At the moment, the only details known about the series’ return is it will be handled by a different crew and those working in “Teen Titans GO” will not be shipped over to create “Teen Titans” Season 6. The other known fact about the show is that it will drop sometime this year, although there’s no exact date given at the time of this writing. Be that as it may, fans are simply happy that this classic will be returning since it’s one of the best cartoons in its era and can easily go toe to toe with today’s content.
For the unaware, “Teen Titans” Season 6 is the supposed continuation of the series’ fifth installment that ended in 2006. Back then, its cancelation didn’t garner much attention on the web since social media wasn’t as ubiquitous at the time.
Fast forward 13 years later and a special clip from the “Teen Titans! Go to the Movies” film dropped a massive revelation about a possible “Teen Titans” Season 6. In the short announcement, the team can be seen trying to adjust the frequency of a display. After successfully doing so, Robin and the rest of the squad can be seen standing inside in their headquarters, their animation style similar to the classic series.
Unfortunately, nothing is known about this supposed “Teen Titans” Season 6. Whether it’s going to a series, a movie or something else entirely is still up for debate. Whatever it is, it got fans hyped up for a possible return.
Part of the reason why the show was widely successful is due to the fact that the showrunners did a remarkable job of hitting multiple nails on the head. From animation style, storytelling, character development, and character interaction – “Teen Titans” was quite the gripping show to watch back in the day. So it’s not surprising that its fans – the majority of them falling between 28 to 35-years old – are ecstatic that Warner Bros. is entertaining the idea of a “Teen Titans” Season 6. Hopefully, the showrunners follow the same formula implemented more than a decade ago as it proved to be the perfect approach in handling this sort of superhero series.
