“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 has been confirmed after History announced its renewal only last week. The new installment will feature a sizable 30 episodes for a more comprehensive coverage of the treasure hunting in the famous island in Nova Scotia.
As per Deadline, the “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 was renewed along with the other most viewed shows in History and this includes “Truck Night in America,” “Alone,” “Mountain Men” and “Swamp People.” Although the announcement of the reality-documentary show’s renewal only came recently, Rick and Marty Lagina along with their crew have started filming months ago.
This means that the brothers have long started digging and they could have discovered many new things by now. The activities on the island were revealed via snapshots taken by people who come to Oak Island. The images proved to be the best spoilers for “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 because they are photos from the actual filming site.
Most probably, among the people who give updates about the show, Karen Publicover is the best source of spoilers. This is because she lives just across the location believed to be where the Money Pit sits.
Her latest update shows a crane and other pieces of machinery in the vicinity. The team is also busy with draining a swamp as they continue the search for the elusive Oak Island treasures.
The Lagina brothers are expected to show more new discoveries on “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 while also updating some details about their previously dug up treasures especially the medieval cross that they think once owned by the Knights Templar. Moreover, there was additional information that the show’s metal-detecting expert Gary Drayton was able to find evidence about the Oak Island’s connection to the Templar thus the upcoming season is a must-watch.
“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 will premiere on Nov. 13 at 9 p.m. on History.
