“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 6 is titled “Precious Metal” and it will delve more on the possible Knight Templar connection to the Money Pit. The Templar is being talked about in the show since the last few episodes of season 5 and now Rick and Marty Lagina are looking into it more due to fresh evidence that was found lately.
As shared on Rotten Tomatoes, the synopsis for “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 6 reads: “New insights on Nolan Cross suggest a Templar connection to the Money Pit, while emerging evidence convinces the team the discovery of the lead cross may be the most historic find in North America.”
The Laguna brothers and their team are testing the lead medieval cross that they previously dug up however, the full results are not out yet that is why they discover something as the details are being released one by one. In episode 5 titled “Homecoming,” it was suggested that the new relics found are going to change history as there seems to be proof that the French explorers have landed on Oak Island too.
Part of the major finds in the previous episode was the subterranean chambers and they are believed to be connected to the pathways going to the Money Pit. Now, “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 6 will continue from this point and seismic activities will continue to find out more about the underground tunnels.
“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 is about treasure hunting in the coast of Nova Scotia where the Oak Island is located. It is the place where the longest-running treasure hunt is ongoing for more than 200 years already.
Based on the legend, the Oak Island has the Money Pit where the Ark of the Covenant, the Holy Grail, Knights Templar treasures and other riches were buried. Since the hunt started in the 1790s, six people already died in the vicinity and it was said that the island must take a seventh person before the resources are finally found. Rick and Marty Lagina are the latest team who are focused on finding the treasures and it is through their explorations that the “The Curse of Oak Island” TV series was born.
“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 6 will air on Dec. 18 at 9 p.m. on History.
