“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 8 would be the second episode this year and it promises an explosive story as Rick and Marty reveals an exciting find. The brothers and their team are focused on the around the cove in this chapter and it seems that they have discovered another important object, but what is it?
“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 8 is titled “Unearthed” and its short description reads: “After months of tireless effort, Rick, Marty and the team begin the massive excavation at Smith's Cove and almost immediately strike gold.”
Did they really struck gold and unearthed a relic that gives clues to the Money Pit and its alleged treasures? Based on the title and summary, it seems that they did. However, what their find or finds were had yet to be revealed in “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 8.
In any case, while the team is excavating in Smith's cove, the building of the dam is ongoing as well. The dam is being built in order to protect everyone from the ocean water that may seep in while they dig in the cove and underground tunnels that the team had previously found. The materials for building the massive structure were already delivered, but completion could take a while.
“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 episode 8 is set to return on Jan. 8 at 9 p.m. on History. Check out the preview for “Unearthed” on the show's official page.
