“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 is just around the corner, and its avid viewers just can't wait for the premiere toa arrive. The reality show has been running for five years already, and at the time, Rick and Mary Lagina have already dug up lots of interesting things, and many of them proved to be vital pieces in their aim to locate the lost treasures believed to have been buried in the “Money Pit.”
With the amount of what they found so far, many are predicting that it will not be long when the Lagina brothers finally solve the centuries-old mystery of the treasures in Oak Island. Filming for “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 has been ongoing for some time already although neither History nor the Lagina brothers are confirming anything.
What to expect - sightings of excavations in Oak Island
Residents of Oak Island have been updating the fans about the happenings on the island. In particular, Karen Publicover started a Facebook fan page where she regularly uploads photos of trucks and excavators going in and out of the filming site. Her most recent update shows an excavator digging in the swamp.
People were commenting that they believe this is really the resting place of the treasures. Cat Fulton said that something is really down since they are focusing on it so much. She added that perhaps, the Ark and the gems were indeed buried in the swamp.
In the photo of a big excavator, Albert Atwell commented that based on history that he knows, the ship was swept up to the Island during a storm and it came in up where Fred Nolan's house was located. He added that treasure hunters of the past tried to dig a canal to pull the ship out of the water, but they failed, and this canal is the present swamp that is being excavated for “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7.
Atwell went on to claim that if he was not mistaken, the ship’s name was Saint Katherine and Sir Henry Sinclair was the captain of the vessel. This is an exciting piece of info, and if he is right, then Rick and Marty Lagina could be on the right spot. Thus, fans should expect more scenes in and around the swamp in the upcoming “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7.
