Episode recap
In the previous “The Curse of Oak Island” season 8, episode 6, historians were present in the war room via video call. They were discussing the anchor points on a 14th-century map and revealed that maybe it can pinpoint the exact location of the Money Pit.
Previously, an expert was saying that the geometric figure in Nicolas Poussin’s paintings looks strikingly similar to a treasure map so they deduced that it may help them find the treasures. Recently, the team discovered that a line that starts from Jerusalem continues to Versailles and finally ends in Oak Island.
This made them think that the Knights Templar was able to find Solomon’s treasures that include the Menorah. For safekeeping, they could have buried them on Oak Island. Back in the war room in the last episode, Erin Helton of Resource Data Inc. further fueled the Templar theory by discussing the old Zena Halpern’s map.
She said that boulders were strategically placed and the points could be leading to the actual Money Pit. in any case, the Lagina brothers and the team find more clues with the new discovery they find strange.
They discovered a stone concealed in the roadway below the swamp. They were surprised as the path leads directly to the sea. They are now throwing in the theory that this pathway could have been used to unload the treasure on Oak Island and hid them somewhere.
