The hit TV series ‘The Flash’ has a lot going on in its plate right now as they have been bringing major surprises and revelations in their upcoming episode. Now on its second season, hearts will yet again be broken not only from the breakup of Patty (Shantel VanSanten) and Barry's (Grant Gustin), but because something bad may happen to Iris (Candice Patton).
Major spoilers will be dished out in this article so enjoy! According to the synopsis for episode 12, Barry teams up with Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh) to find a way to close the breaches between Earth 1 and Earth 2. Remember, the ongoing plan to stop Zoom requires closing all of the breaches except one, so that Barry and the STAR Labs team know exactly where the super villain will be entering Earth 1 when he comes for The Flash.
Speaking of Zoom and of revelations, Jay his suffering from a terminal illness and in order for him to be cured, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) theorized that they just needed someone with matching DNA to act as a surrogate to replace his bad cells — i.e. Jay's Earth 1 counterpart. But it turned out that Jay’s counterpart was an orphan named Hunter Zolomon who never became a speedster. And we all know that speed alters one’s DNA so technically Zolomon is not a Jay’s match.
But with fans, amazing as they can be, discovered that Zolomon was actually Zoom. So now Jay is back to finding a way to capture Zoom.
As for Iris, she will be worried about her brother Wally's (Keiynan Lonsdale) who is recently into drag racing. They have become closer now since they visited their dying mother (Vanessa Williams). Another thing, Iris will be put in danger when Flash was battling a foe and a shard of glass flew to her stomach.
What will happen to Iris? And will Jay ever get a hold of Zoom’s DNA? Let us all find out as "The Flash" airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on the CW.
