“The Flash” season 5 episode 4 is coming up and it will be an intense chapter as Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy), Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris's (Candice Patton) daughter, seems to be the target of a new villain. It also appears that secrets from the future will finally be unraveled and it will explain Nora’s decision to time-travel to her parent’s time.
As posted on TV Guide, “The Flash” season 5 episode 4’s official synopsis reads: “Barry and Iris face the ultimate parenting test when Team Flash battles Spin, a savvy millennial armed with meta tech, and a dangerous agenda for their daughter, Nora. Ralph is feeling defeated until unlikely source issues a challenge to help boost his confidence.”
Nora is in danger so her parents, Barry and Iris, had to fight a powerful villain named Spin (Kiana Madeira) to protect her. It is not clear why the time-traveling daughter of the speedsters is being targeted by the dangerous, meta-tech-armed enemy but one thing is for sure, Team Flash must defeat her.
“The Flash” season 5 episode 4 will mark the debut of Spencer “Spin” Young. Fans theorized that the new villain is the person responsible for the issues and troubles that the Allen family have had to deal with.
Moreover, Spin could also be one of the reasons why Nora time-traveled to her past, and the truth could be revealed in “The Flash” season 5 episode 4. So, who is Spin?
According to Comic Book, Spin is referred to as Mr. Auerbach in the comics. He is a journalist and his father runs a media company. Later, Auerbach took over the firm but unknown to many, his sinister persona is turning him into a villain when not doing his duties as a CEO.
Spin’s power comes from Edwar Martinez, a meta-human who has the ability to turn people's fears into a reality. He keeps him locked in a basement and only summons him when he needs to use his powers to manipulate the people’s perception about The Flash and his team.
Fans should not miss “The Flash” season 5 episode 4 because as mentioned earlier, Nora will finally divulge why she time-traveled and what happened between her and her mom Iris that led to their cold relationship in the future. Also, it seems that Nora’s real motive for returning to the past was revenge, perhaps against her own parents.
“The Flash” season 5 episode 4 is airing on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
