Despite the many tense moments leading up to the events in “The Promised Neverland” Episode 12, the children will be able to escape, leaving a burning manor in their wake. Isabella’s best efforts will fail her as Emma, Ray, and the rest of the fleeing kids finally outsmart their caretaker. However, even as they celebrate their successful escape, the children will soon learn that they have entered a nightmare.
As TheAnimeScrolls reports, the finale for the first season of “The Promised Neverland” is almost here and with it, the promise of more adventures for the children. A total of 15 kids will escape in “The Promised Neverland” Episode 12 with quite a few of the youngest ones being left behind. While Emma is determined to return for them, she will first need to overcome the hardships ahead.
It is unlikely that “The Promised Neverland” Episode 12 will feature the truth about the world that the children are living as a whole. However, viewers will at least be treated to some parts of it before the second season comes around. Basically, the wilds outside of the orphanage are so unforgiving and harsh that the dangers posed by Isabella are nothing, in comparison.
It would appear that Emma and her friends were surrounded by the evilest and vilest of things right from the start. They simply were not aware of their existence, but they’ll certainly know about them, following “The Promised Neverland” Episode 12.
Even so, the children will need to push on in order to not only survive in their harsh, new environment but to also flee the pursuers sent after them. This is likely where the high-quality animation of the series can really shine. It’s simply unfortunate that such scenes will likely not be featured in “The Promised Neverland” Episode 12 when it airs on March 28.
