Animoca Brands' subsidiary, The Sandbox, said it has teamed up with Agora to rev up real-time social interaction and engagement while in the metaverse. This deal will allow The Sandbox players to connect with each other in the virtual world but with real-time voice, chat, and video. The gaming platform added this setup will encourage better collaboration among players and creators, making their social experiences better.
Why The Sandbox Picked Agora for the Collab
As mentioned on Mobidictum, The Sandbox chose to collaborate with Agora as it has the capacity to provide the ideal real-time engagement platform for the metaverse. In fact, the latter's extensive product lineup enables seamless 3D spatial audio integration, continuous text chat, and immersive live-streaming features.
In a nutshell, The Sandbox's search for the right real-time engagement tool for the virtual world led it to Agora. The firm sees the latter as the perfect choice as it can offer everything it seeks to achieve its goal for social interactions in the metaverse.
